Meals and lodging will be provided for the duration of your stay, and recruits are given weekends off while at the academy. During these 16 weeks, you will be educated on general laws in the classroom and Law enforcement tactics outside of the classroom in hands on learning. After your academy graduation, you will then participate in a 12 week field training completed in house. Here you will work along side Field Training Officers (FTO) who will educate you on our policies and procedures and how to handle calls for service along with how to conduct day to day tasks.
